Revolutionizing Education: Empowering Context Instead of Just Text

During the 81st session of the Texas legislature, an important debate unfolded around legislation known as HB4294. The actual legislative language can be found here.  In essence, the bill allows for textbook funds to be used for electronic textbooks as well, and it unleashed a very interesting debate, a debate I comment on here.

CLOUD does not have "a dog in this hunt," as they say in Texas.  CLOUD's goal, instead, is to advance a new language of ME that can simultaneously empower learners, educators, administrators and state and federal agencies.  It's not just about making content electronic but once it is, connecting it in new ways not only to the learner but throughout the whole education value chain.

Follow the story here and add your voice to the revolution of ME.

Unlike Clay Shirky on @onthemedia, we believe there is life after Facebook. Facebook rules the Web, but the Web isn't the Internet.
